Thursday 3rd July: Gordon Ridout Trophy @ Clarence Park
Trophy awarded to the Top Rink of Peter Stokes, George Hoare, Ray Avery, Sam Baker (24-12). 

Sunday 29th June: London Scottish B.A. @ Hemel Hempstead
Super hosts, great meal and friendly hospitality and by the way a super win for the District by 130 to 115 shots; rinks shared 3:3. Eight COLT badges awarded and also a 'red letter day' on President Alan's rink a wonderful HOT SHOT!!!

Thursday 26th June: London & Southern Counties B.A.
Hatfield proved excellent Hosts maily through hard work by Mike Woodhams and Cliff Batts. The District went into tea winning overall but lost their way thereafter. The final score 79-105 to London & Southern with all rinks lost the the visiting side.

Sunday 15th June: Shield Match -v- Berkhamsted B.C.
Excellent hosts-good food, good wine, good company. Tight match played in the right spirit. Good wishes sent to Dave Lovett (Captain and District Delegate) in Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Match result 83-86 to Berkhamsted with the rinks shared 2:2. Top Rink for the District: Mike Davis, Mike Whitcutt, Eddie Jacobs and Peter Daley (29-7) 

Tuesday 10th June: Shield Match -v- Shire Park B.C.
Green excellent, weather hot & dry, game played in the right spirit. This was the Association's first vistit to Shire Park and was greatly enjoyed by all. The Match well won by Shire Park 97-65 shots with the home team winning on all four rinks.

Sunday 8th June: Watford & District B.A. (@ Herts. B.A.)
Great result and first victory for S&D B.A. the Match won by 103-68 shots and by 3.5 - 1.5 rinks.
Top rink: Paul Castle, Alan Brittain, Ron Golden and Roy Edwards (30-10)

Wedesday 4th June: Shield Match -v- Batchwood Hall B.C.
The District lost on 3 rinks and the Match by 70-80 shots. Best (winning) rink Alan Brittain,
Derek Hale, Michael Woodhams and Terry Kenyon (25-21). Batchwood were generous hosts, they made a donation towards the President's charity and handed over the proceeds of the Raffle on the
day, for the same purpose. 

Saturday 24th May: Shield Match -v- W.G.C.
The District lost on all four rinks and the Match by 60-84 shots. Best of the losing rinks for the District was Peter Waller, Paul Castle, Mike Woodhams and Malcolm Ingram (17-18). Reg Collins sponsored the Spider for the President's SADBA charity appeal.

Wednesday 14th May: Shield Match -v- Townsend B.C.
The District won on three of the five Rinks but lost the Match 109 - 117 shots.
Winning rinks: Alan Brittain, Eamond Roberts, Ron Golden and Derek Barchelor (26-21);
Alan Turner, Tony Parsonage, Richard Pearce and Les Roberts (18-13); Top Rink John Millins,
Ray Martin, Graham Marriner and Gordon Price (25-17). Townsend were most generous and handed over the proceeds of the Raffle towards the President's charity.
